We want to let all students, parents, and community members know that there was never a threat to the Plains school or our students today. There were a lot of social media posts around about various schools including one put out there that had Plains on the list. Almost all of these, including the one that named Plains, have been proven false. Law enforcement was at school today on two separate issues. We understand that this may also have led to concerns. Students of Plains ISD were never in danger. We would appreciate that any time students are concerned for them to reach out to any staff member.
