The Plains Junior High Math team went to San Antonio to compete with over 3000 test takers and came home with a 6th place State TMSCA TROPHY and 11 individual trophies and medals!!! We are proud of their hard work and accomplishments!

Chloa backed up yesterday’s round with another solid 101 today, 19 strokes better than a year ago. Her round today included her first birdie of her playing career, which helped place her 34th out of 92 golfers in our extremely tough region, finishing 14 spots better than a year ago. Overall, Chloa represented Plains extremely well this week. Much to be proud of!

Day 1 of Regionals in the books. Chloa fired a 100 on her way to a top 30 standing in the entire region after round one. This marked her personal best score on the Palo Duro Creek Golf Course and her best score to par (+26) in her career up to this point. Round 2 will begin at 8:10 tomorrow morning on hole #10. Let's Go Chloa!!

Huge congratulations to our Destination Imagination team for an outstanding performance at the state tournament at the University of Texas at Arlington this weekend! Competing in a massive field of 500 teams, our students showcased incredible creativity and problem-solving to secure a Top 10 finish in their flight. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! The kids also had the fourth highest instant challenge score.

Congratulations to The Wrangler Band for competing at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading yesterday at Denver City. They received straight 1's in Sight Reading and had a great concert!!

Congratulations Cowboys!! Braylon, Fernando & Fermin were all named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) Academic All State Team! Taking pride on the court and in the classroom will always be a huge accomplishment.

Congratulations to Christian and Braylon!! They will be continuing their athletic journey at LCU-Cross Country and Howard Payne University-Basketball!! Again congratulations Cowboys, well deserved!!
