Mrs. Amber Smith is joining Plains ISD as the district’s Pre-K - 12th grade Assistant Principal. Amber brings over two decades of experience in public education to Plains.  She has an extensive background in elementary education, having taught multiple grade levels, with her students reaching academic standards far beyond state averages.  Mrs. Smith also comes to Plains with experience as a high school English teacher and Assistant Principal. During her time at Quanah ISD her students were integral in Quanah High School receiving the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award.  We are excited to introduce our newest Cowgirl, Mrs. Amber Smith! We know her experience and proven track record will bring tremendous value to our school and help our students reach their full potential!
