Tech Indoor meet for these guys this morning against kids from all over the country. They have been running since December and they competed well already starting this track season with PRs. Our Middle School Chess Club had our delayed 2024 tournament today! 27 students competed against each other to win the Chess Board of Glory!!! 3rd place - Jordy Bell. 2nd Place - Gus Kaiser. 1st place Rick Herevia! This past Wednesday, Plains HS STUCO attended the TEEN Summit 2025. They engaged in workshops lead by influential presenters and interacting in sessions that foster a sense of true understanding of the world around us and had opportunities to network with other students. They were able to hear keynote speaker John Wayne Walding Sergeant first Class U.S. Army Green Beret. Thank you to Mrs. Stephens and Mrs. Minall for sponsoring the trip.

National Speech & Debate Association recognized our students. Anahi Ontiveros received an induction award, Merideth Anna and Emmie Mckenzie received a Merit Degree and Taylor Rains and Matias Aguilar received a Honor Degree.
