Plains I.S.D. employees had an orange training at the beginning of the year about the effects of a positive attitude and outlook. Plains Junior High will be giving out an "Orange Award" each six weeks to reflect those characteristics of happiness, positivity, and kindness. The 2nd Six Weeks recipients of the "Orange Award" are Andres Coronado from 5th Grade and Teagan Redekopp from 7th Grade. Congratulations, Keep being Orange!

The Math and Calculator Teams competed in The Virtual Challenge Meet. They placed 2nd as a team in Calculator and 3rd in Math against the best 2A teams in the state. Both teams also placed 2nd at the TexasTech Fall Fandango. Everyone placed in the top 6 individually and had several medal. We are proud of all of their hard work!!!
