Students from Plains high school attended EDUCON 2022 at ESC 17 today. These students are interested in pursuing teaching careers in the future.

Cowboy Football Update: Cowboys vs. Smyer football game will be on Thursday, November 3, 2022 starting at 2 pm. Senior Night introductions will begin at 1:30 pm. Game change due to Cross Country athletes competing at the State XC meet on Friday, November 4, 2022.

JH Football update: Wranglers at Smyer will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 4 pm. Game change is due to our Boys and Kiley Barrera and Anallely Moreno competing at the State Cross Country Meet on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Our Cross Country Team qualified for State! In order for us to get to Austin safe for their state meet next Friday, we have to make some changes to the schedule. Tuesday JH Football @ Smyer 5 pm Thursday Nov 3rd Early Release 12:30pm 8:30 am Pep Rally XC send to follow 1:30 pm Senior Night HS Football vs Smyer 2pm @ Cowboy Stadium Friday Nov 4th Regular School day. XC at Austin 11:40 start time.

The NFHS Network will provide a live two-day broadcast of the 2022 UIL Cross Country State Meet, with coverage beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.

Plains ISD will have an Orang Frog Day on November 1st. All students and staff wear orange!
