Thursday October 17, 2024, at 10:30 am, Josten will meet with seniors and juniors to discuss senior rings and cap & gowns in the auditorium. Parents are welcome to come but not required, information will be sent home to be viewed before ordering. Orders will be taken on Oct 24th the following Thursday.

Today our 11th and 12th grade students attended the 2024 South Plains Career Expo hosted at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
The annual South Plains Career Expo is the premier career-education event and the largest of its kind in West Texas, attended by more than 4,300 students and 150+ businesses and colleges. It shows students the amazing diversity of the career opportunities in our region, as well as the skills and education needed to pursue those careers.
Today, our 5th grade went to the Yoakum County Jamboree and visited different activities and booths. They learn about the following topics:
Cattle Branding, Soil & Water, Farm Equipment, Electricity from Xcel Energy, Save Water from Sandyland UWCD, Banking & Finance from First United Bank, Peanuts from Golden Peanut, Oil & Gas from Oxy, Nuclear Enrichment from Richy from Urenco USA, Power Plant: from the Mustang Station, and Wildlife from Texas Parks & Wildlife. If you participated in mini cheer camp this summer we will have practice from 6:00pm-7:00pm Thursday October, 10th in the east gym.
Mini cheerleaders will perform at the pink out pep rally Friday October, 11th in the east gym at 3:15pm.
They will also perform 1st quarter of the football game. Please have them there at 6:15pm.
