The Student Assessment Division of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) experienced technical difficulties statewide with the STAAR Online Testing Platform (SOTP) during the first day of testing on Tuesday, April 6. Our 7th grade students were not able to complete the online test, so TEA directed Plains ISD to stop online testing for the day. TEA reported today, that connectivity issues with the SOTP have not been resolved. Our 4th grade students were able to complete 4th grade STAAR writing online assessment today and 9th grade completed the paper EOC English I exam. We try again with our 7th grade students tomorrow, Wednesday April 7th.
