American Legion Riders are well known for their charitable work. The organization has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans’ homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships. Since 2006, riders nationwide have participated annually in the American Legion Legacy Run to raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, which was established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001. Tomorrow, the American Legion Riders will be coming through Plains. STUCO will be collecting donations at 9 am from our staff and student body. Please contribute what you can for a good cause.
