The Center for Global Understanding in Lubbock, Texas, has established the Jay Harris Scholarship to encourage high school students to expand their knowledge and understanding of United States History by enrolling in dual credit sections of HIST 1301 and HIST 1302 at South Plains College. Scholarships awarded from the program pay the $180 dual credit instructional fee for each course. The mission of the Center for Global Understanding is to promote cultural awareness and understanding here and abroad. #plainsproud

There has been a change to game times for JV volleyball teams tomorrow at Plainview. JV1 will play at 10AM and JV 2 will play at 11AM. Varsity is still at 9AM.
2nd Round of pool play at Friona Tournament 7G beat Ft. Sumner 2-0, 8G come up short against Friona 1-2. Third round of pool play Saturday: 7G vs Friona 8AM. 8G vs Ft Sumner 10 AM. Bracket Play will start at 11 AM.

On September 9th, Plains ISD will offer the Pfizer COVID vaccine to anyone 12 and over with parent permission. We will also offer the vaccine to our community to anyone 18 and over. If you are interested in getting the Pfizer COVID vaccine, please call our school nurse to schedule an appointment. It will be administrated at the HS auditorium.
