Plains High School is excited to announce the March Students of the Month, Lana Bell and Angel Garcia. Lana is the senior daughter of Josh and Lexi Bell. She is a member of the volleyball, basketball and track teams, and she also competes in One Act Play and UIL academics. Lana enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She is a member of the Plains First Baptist Church. In the fall, Lana plans to attend Texas A&M to pursue a degree in economics. One of Lana's teachers said, "Lana is an excellent student and a leader of our school. She is intelligent, driven, and hard-working. She is an asset to any class, and she will be missed next year." Angel Garcia is the junior son of Fransico and Aracely Garcia. Angel plays basketball and football at Plains High, and he enjoys playing baseball. He also enjoys hanging out with his family. His future plan is to become an electrician. One of Angel's teachers said that "Angel demonstrates a strong work ethic both in and out of the classroom. He volunteers his time at church when needed and embraces hard work. He is committed to everything that he does." Plains High School is proud of Lana and Angel and their many accomplishments. They are deserving of the title "Student of the Month!"

JH District Track Today at Seagraves!

The Plains Junior High Math team went to San Antonio to compete with over 3000 test takers and are coming home with 7 State TMSCA MEDALS AND ONE TROPHY!!! We are proud of their hard work and accomplishments! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these bright students!!! #plainsproud
