Big congrats to Desmond & Chloa for qualifying for the 2A Regional Golf Tournament next week in Canyon! Desmond shot a personal tournament best 80 to place 3rd overall, while Chloa also bested her personal record with a 107 to finish 2nd overall! Super proud of you both!

AreaTrack Meet Update: The Area Track Meet is Thursday, April 10th @ Wink High School. 3200 will start at 10 am.

Plains ISD is proud to announce the hiring of Coach Daniel Purvis from Cross Plains. Coach Purvis is the current Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Cross Plains ISD, a position he has held for the last fourteen years. During his tenure there, the Cross Plains football program has reached the playoffs eleven times. He has achieved over eighty wins and has coached numerous all-state football players. Coach Purvis has also achieved numerous other accomplishments outside of the football field, including two state championships, five regional championships, thirteen area championships, and sixteen district championships as a Head Track Coach. Under his leadership, the girls' basketball program has experienced immense success with six district championships, one regional tournament appearance, and fourteen consecutive playoff appearances. The boys' program has had nine playoff appearances and one area championship. He is experienced with all of our athletic offerings, and each of the programs under his leadership has experienced double-digit years of playoff appearances. We are thrilled to have Coach Purvis, his wife Brandi, and their two daughters lead the Cowboys and Cowgirls this coming school year!
