
The Plains ISD Teacher Incentive Allotment Committee is made up of the following individuals: Kelly Bowers, Kelly Ann Deaton, Brad McGann, Lexi Bell, Townlii Gonzales, Kamarie Schmidt, Corey Hogue, Sarah Mills, Heather Harris, Traci Heflin, Gary Davis, Beau Rains, and Scott Mills. These members were selected by the Plains ISD administration team.
Proposed Eligible Teaching Categories along with the Proposed Weighting for T-TESS and Student Growth for the Plains ISD TIA Plan can be found HERE. The committee has worked hard to ensure every teacher at Plains ISD has an opportunity to be eligible. This document will be updated between now and April 15 when we must submit our finalized plan. Each teacher will only qualify in one eligibility category. If this list contains more than one teaching category for you, please let us know the category in which you would like to qualify.
For the Teacher Observation portion of the plan, Plains ISD has decided that all teachers, certified and non-certified on probationary or non-probationary contracts, will have 1 formal observation that will count toward data collected for designation purposes.
For the Student Growth portion of the plan, student data will be collected from Pre-Post Tests as specified in the Proposed Weighting document above.
