Plains Cowgirls (Plains, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tahoka Lady Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX), 47-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Plains upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Cowgirls travel to Morton (Morton, TX) to encounter the Indians in a 1A-1 Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Indians go into the game with a record of 11-10. Morton won 52-44 in their recent game against Seagraves (Seagraves, TX).
