Got Stress?

Stress is a big deal for students, especially in high school. One of the main causes of this can simply be lack of sleep. If you are tired, you cannot focus, and when talking about tests, especially the TAKS, you begin to worry and get stressed.
There are many stress relievers, though what works for one person may not work for you. A few simple things you can do are as follows:
1. Get sleep. If you do not get yourself enough sleep, you can get stressed out at the littlest things.
2. Do something you enjoy. If you like playing basketball, go to the gym and shoot around. If you like music, find a nice quiet spot by yourself and pump up the jams. Anything to get your mind off what is stressing you out.
3. Hang out with your friends. Friends can help you relax and they really take your mind off of school. You can go to the mall, cruise around town, or watch a movie.
These are only a few things. There are many more that might work for you. Just remember, if you are feeling stressed, take a moment to relax and calm yourself. Look at the bright side and don't worry!
