Roundup at the GU&L Corral
The Kindergarten and Pre-K classes took a field trip on Thursday, February 4th to the Lubbock Civic Center to watch an action packed Stephen Fite concert. This year’s theme was “Giddy-Up and Learn”.
All of the children seemed to have a great time singing and dancing along with him. They were all made honorary cowhands on the GU&L Ranch. They learned about phonics blends, skip counting, manners, and even what happens when a silly caterpillar eats too much.
The children were actively engaged throughout the performance and had a rootin-tootin time! (In fact, some of the teachers were caught doing a little rootin-tootin of their own from their seats.)It was a fun show. After a great sack lunch provided our cafeteria staff, we returned home with some tired little Ropers.
