Benchmarking!!!!!

This week is one that is dreaded in the high school because of the benchmark tests. From Monday until Thursday every student body in the high school except for seniors have to take practice TAKS tests. The tests aren't all that bad if you consider all the benefits of doing well on the test. First of all, you get a good practice for the real TAKS tests in March and April, and second of all, if we get between passing and commended on the tests we get our waiver days off. Waiver days are the last four Mondays of school that will not be required if we do well on these tests. Most students are trying super hard to do well so they don’t have to come to TAKS practice during those Mondays when no one else will be at school.
