Collegiate Coach affects High School

Many students and teachers were greatly affected by the firing of Coach Leach from Texas Tech.
"I'm not necessarily upset that he was fired, but I am upset by the way Tech handled the situation," Mrs. Whitney Jones said.
With such a great disappointment, students walk around with T-shirts to support the former coach and are not afraid to voice their opinion on the issue. The most popular thought is that the decision Texas Tech made by firing Mike Leach was not smart.
"I think Mike Leach's situation is unfair and ridiculous," senior Emilia Gallegos said.
There are many opinions on the issue, but the University has made their decision. Mike Leach is no longer the head coach of Texas Tech and a new one, Tommy Tuberville, is ready for the upcoming season.
