Plains High School does well at Andrews on January 9, 2010

Plains High School UIL Academic team of 23 students traveled to Andrews to compete with 24 1A to 5A schools and placed fourth overall. The computer science team was the only team champion from Plains. The Mathematics and Calculator teams placed 2nd behind Odessa Permian.
Adriana Corrales, Austin Taylor, Autumn Friesen, Brooke Wilson, Christian Valdez, Cody Friesen, Court Crawford , Cynthia Rodriguez , Denise Tarango, Forrest Booth, Greg Andazola , Griffin Young , Hunter Welch, Justin Taylor, Kevin Gass , Mayra , Nathan McCravey, Roxanna Cueto , Samantha DeLaRosa , Saul Fierro, Shaylin Taylor , Shelby McCutcheon , and Troy Alldredge were on the squad.
