Plains Academic UIL makes good showing at Lubbock High on November 7

The Plains High School UIL Academic Team travelled to Lubbock High on November 7th to compete against 20 other 1A to 3A schools and ended up in 3rd place overall. The number sense team was 6th, Calculator team was 1st, Math Team was 3rd, Science Team was 4th, Journalism Team was 2nd, Computer Science Team was 3rd and the Literary Criticism Team was 2nd.
The academic squad consisted of:
