Grades and more in FAMILY ACCESS
To the Parents of Students at Plains ISD:
We are thrilled to offer you the use of the latest technology to track information regarding your student(s) at Plains ISD. Software licensed to us by Skyward now allows you to access each of your studentsâ personal information regarding:
Attendance
Grades
Discipline
Health/Shot Records
You can now see your kidâs grades as they are posted, see past report cards, check attendance data, request information changes (like addresses or phone numbers). You can even get an email sent to you when your student is marked absent or has grades drop below a level that you determine.
This software is web-based and can be accessed anywhere from the www.plainsisd.net website and only requires an account to be set up for you through our network administrator, Mike Young (and an internet connection). If you donât have internet access available to you, stop by your campus office and ask to use one of the schoolâs computers. We have been testing this software for about one month to the rave reviews of those who have used it.
To open an account for your studentâs information, please contact your school secretary at 806.456.7401 and tell them you want to sign up for âSkyward Family Access.â Our hope is that this is a fantastic tool that creates better communication between parents and the school.
