Following an open week, the Cowboys looked a little sluggish, with Smyer leading 7-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.  However, just 24 seconds into the 2nd quarter, Jarron Bell scored from 5 yards out.  With the Edward Valdez PAT kick, the Cowboys tied the score at 7-7, then took a lead that would never be relinquished with a 1 yard TD run by Josh Brock with 6:34left in the 2nd.  The PAT was good, and the Cowboys led 14-7.  Smyer returned the ensuing kickoff 95 yards, to cut the lead to 14-13.  The Bobcats PAT attempt failed, leaving the Cowboys up by one, until Brandon Craft scored from 5 yards out.  The Cowboys PAT failed, and at the half the Cowboys led the Bobcats 20-13.

The Cowboys received the 2nd half kickoff, and proceeded to score in only two plays, with Craft getting his 2nd score of the night, this one from 42 yards.  Valdez' PAT was good and the Cowboy lead moved to 27-13.  With 7:11left in the 3rd, Jaaron Bell scored his 2nd TD of the night, this time from 4 yards away.  Valdez kick was good, and the Cowboys lead jumped to 34-13.  The Cowboys scored again with 1:41 left in the 3rd, as Brandon Craft found the end zone for the 3rd time on the night.  Craft's 11 yard run, followed by Valdez' kick, gave the Cowboys their biggest lead of the night at 41-13.  Smyer was able to score early in the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 41-19, and the last Cowboy drive of the night ended with a fumble deep in Smyer territory, keeping 41-19 as the final score.
