Plains JV Football keeps Rolling

The Cowboy junior varsity football team improved their record to 2-0 with a hard fought victory over Farwell. The young cowboys went to Farwell and came home with a 14-6 victory. Scoring the first TD for the cowboys was Merrit Crump with a touchdown rushing. The score remained 6-6 for the entire ball game until Miguel Carrillo caught a TD pass from Joseph Sainz with just under 2 minutes remaining and the cowboy defense did their part holding the Steers on four downs to end the contest. Come out next Thursday as the JV football takes on Sudan at home.
