Hello My Name Is...

Kim Williskim

I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications.  After 10 years working for the State of Texas, I decided that God was calling me into teaching.  I participated in an alternative certification program offered by Region 18.  I taught high school for 6 years and then moved into elementary education.  This is my 14th year with Plains ISD and I have loved every minute!
This year I'm teaching Science and Social Studies in 3rd and 4th grade.  I'm a naturally curious person so we should have great fun exploring our surroundings!  I consider it an extreme honor to be able to be a small part in the learning process of the children that we teach and hope to instill in them some of my own love of learning!

If you're not willing to learn, no one can help you.
If you're determined to learn, no one can stop you!
